    Taryn’s Pregnancy – (Ep. 12)

Hearing about other people’s pregnancy is always interesting to me.  When I was pregnant, all I wanted to read about was what did other women go through.  As Taryn and I worked together, almost daily, I would ask her about her pregnancy, and still hearing her describe her pregnancy on the podcast, I learned more.   Taryn’s pregnancy with twins was much different from mine.  I am always fascinated to hear about someone who had twins as I am not the type of person to have twins.  Taryn is a strong woman and she can handle a lot. Also, if you hear in the podcast, Taryn visualized to have twins…

    A New Year – (Ep. 11)

A New Year always brings new resolutions and promises that this year will be better than last year or that things we want will happen A fresh start to a year to make things right is what many people are looking for. For me, I am looking for a year that is not about a broken leg. Although 2018 was the year I had my son and I have so many great memories that I will cherish forever, I still will always remember 2018 as the year that I broke my leg and the negative aspects that came along with it. I am lucky that family and friends were around…

Moderation During the Holidays – (Ep. 10)

As this is my son’s first Christmas, I am trying to keep myself in check and not do to much.  I wish I could say that I am doing everything to keep things in moderation, but sometimes it is a struggle.  Christmas is the only holiday that I decorate for. All the other holidays I might have a dish or dish towel that goes with the holiday, but nothing like Christmas. I have a tree decorated in every room of my house – including bathrooms!  So I think that is why I may be doing more than I thought I would for my son during Christmas.   How am I…

Going to Disney World – (Ep. 9)

It is no secret that I love Disney World.  I enjoyed going as a kid and I enjoy going as an adult.  I am excited to take my son and see Disney through his eyes.  However, I will be waiting a few years and here is why.   Most of my friends and family thought I would take my child to Disney as soon as I could.  I would if I did not work, had a large vacation budget I could spend each year, and I could travel when Florida weather was not too hot or too cold.  But I can not do all those things. So I have to…

Cooking For My Family – (Ep. 8)

Cooking for my family has become a priority of mine since I started walking again.  Breaking my leg changed my perspective on how I saw many things (go listen to episode 4 to hear about my leg).  I want to spend as much time with my husband and child as I can and I want to provide that meal time togetherness I had growing up.     So for the past month, I have been making our dinners and my son’s food each day.  I’ll start with the grownup food first. My son has a bottle at 5pm each day. While my husband feeds him, I start to make our…
